Can I do it?

Keen to start running but do not know where to start? Whatever your level of fitness you should be able to build from nothing to running continuously for 30 minutes in the space of just 8 weeks. All you need to do is make a commitment to run at least 3 times a week and follow a simple run/walk program which will gradually ease you towards your goal.

Details

We now offer new runners the chance to start running with our Cake Runners Group. One of our Cake Run Leaders will take you out running on a Monday evening separate from the main group using a simple but effective walk run schedule to get you started. You will gradually build your time running and your confidence with it.
