The trail runs for the next two Wednesdays are as follows;

16th August – Tom Blaylock at Graffham (SU931177). Take the A286 Midhurst Road after going through Cocking turn right signed Heyshott. Follow the road to Graffham (avoiding turn to Selham) and once you get to outskirts of the village take the left fork and then right along track with parking by side of the Recreational Ground.

23rd August – Andrew and Jane Harrop at Walderton (SU788105). Take the B1278 to Funtington and turn right just after the public house. At T-junction at bottom of the hill turn right and then first right into Walderton Village. Parking is kindly in Andrew and Jane’s paddock on the side of their house, first on the right. It was a wet and very slippery 4.5 miles for the 333 brave souls who tackled two laps of the top of Highdown above Worthing for the latest round of the WSFRL on Wednesday 2nd August. Despite several falls fortunately no one suffered any serious injury and from the pics an enjoyable evening was had by all. The club finished in eighth place with 95 points. Several from the club went to Harting on Sunday 6th August and joined 140 others for a ten-mile multi-terrain race laid on by Liss Runners. Graham Woodward led us home in 19th place with a time of 1.09.02 followed home by Mark Jennings (52nd – 1.19.05), Lorna Woodward (81st – 1.26.25), Colin Harley (91st – 1.28.15 and good to see Colin’s name in the results), John Le Lievre (106th – 1.34.29) and Ian Stevens (130th – 1.412.34). Great running by all.
