Midsummer 5 Road Race
What another great evening of running on Wednesday in brilliant weather and it appears the club got through the MS5 without any incident during the race. The race was full for the first time in its history. Feed-back so far has been very positive and encouraging with the promise of the runners returning next year. The Provisional Results were published within 24 hours and can be accessed via the link on this website.

Such events cannot even be contemplated without the support of a large team of volunteers. The Committee is so thankful for the 40 plus helpers for their hard work and total commitment to ensuring the race was a great success. This support is fully appreciated, and it demonstrates the current strength of our club.

Whilst always a danger to mention anyone by name special recognition should be given to Keith Akerman, Graham Woodward, Vicky Balandis, Mike Houston, Mark Hillman and Tony Cooley who were the core of the Event Team. Also, we should add Vicky’s catering team consisting of Michelle, Zack, Mark, Helen, Warwick, Alan, Sue and Jill.
