Trail Run

Thanks to Kevin for laying the trail this week enjoyed by over 60 of you. On Wednesday 31st May Ian Godfrey (07746 749047) will lay a course from the West Stoke Car Park for Kingley Vale (SU825088) with start time between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm. From the Northgate roundabout take the B1278 (Funtington Road) and after about a mile at the second sharp left hand bend turn right signed West Stoke. Go across the main “B” road and after a further one mile at T-junction turn left. Go through the village and just past the church turn right and the car park is immediately on right.

Results

Unfortunately, four Cake Runners failed to find any Wombles when they went last Sunday to Wimbledon Common for a half marathon. Despite their absence all enjoyed their runs with Mel Hammond and Amanda Trafford leading home both clocking 2.31.24 followed closely by Lis Peskett (2.33.06) and Margaret Enstone (2.34.45).
