Newsletter 27th December 2018

Training/Activities over next week.  

Thursday 27th December

Seniors meet 6:00 pm at The Cross (merging of South, North, East & West Streets) for a tempo run around the city centre. Led by Amanda. All abilities welcome.

Saturday 29th December

XC Hill session led by Phil open to juniors with seniors welcome. Meet 11:00 am by seats off the path across Oaklands Park. If raining meet by the cricket club pavilion just down from the Rugby Club.

Sunday 30th December

Charity Trail Run laid by Lucy Hilton. Start time between 10:30 am and 12 noon from the Triangle Car Park at top of Goodwood Hill (just past the Race Course). Routes will be 1.5, 4.2 and 6.7 miles so something for everyone including walkers, juniors, dogs and OAPs’ and an ideal opportunity to burn off those festive calories before celebrating New Year!

Lucy is doing this to raise money for Parkinson's UK, so all donations would be very much appreciated. Mince pies will be provided afterwards. If you would prefer to donate on line than on the day her just giving site is: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/lucy-hilton8. All welcome.

Seniors meet 6:30 pm at “Aldi” car park (Westhampnett) for a tempo run around this area. Led by Amanda. All abilities welcome.

Thursday 3rd January

Club Winter Handicap Event No. 4. Meet from 6:00 pm outside the front of Chichester College with start time between 6:15 pm and 6:45 pm. The course is just over four miles.  

 

Miscellaneous Notices.

A reminder to tell Graham you require a place on the one-hour Stretch Class at Chichester College on Monday evenings at 7:45 pm starting on the 7th January. Please email him via (gwoodward7@gmail.com) with your details. Confirmation of the cost is £25 for 13 one-hour sessions. Excellent value and hurry up to enrol to avoid disappointment.

Good luck to everyone running this week to include on New Year’s Day the WSFRL “Hangover 5” at Hill Barn, Worthing. Note that the Chichester parkrun at Oaklands park on Tuesday 1st January starts at 10:30 am and the organisers are looking for more volunteers to help on the day.
