This includes those with head torches as your back also requires to be clearly visible to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians alike.

Sundry Items

The final Sussex XC League match of the season is on Saturday 10th February 2018 with a return visit to the delights of Stanmer Park. This event is entry by individual on the day with all Women from U17 upwards starting at 14:20 pm whilst the U20, Senior and Veterans Men hear the gun at 14:50 pm.

All teams are still in with a great chance of medals so please let’s have a great turn out. Remember it is not all about finishing first as complete teams do better than incomplete ones in the standings. There will be no transport laid on by the club so please make car sharing arrangements.

Many thanks for those organising over the last week the club’s Three Peaks Thrash and Handicap Event.

John has now managed to catch-up on subscriptions received and if you have paid but not received an email acknowledgement please do let him know by responding to this message. It would be helpful please to receive 2018 subscriptions from others, thank you.

A reminder that a certificated first aid course has been arranged to run on two consecutive Tuesday evenings on 13th and 20th March from 6:00 until 9:00 pm in the club room at the Chichester College Sports Pavilion. This course is for all coaches, leaders and parents who are responsible or help with any of our junior or senior groups. It will cover emergency first aid. All participants will be issued with a certificate valid for 3 years. All coaches and leaders are expected to have a valid first aid certificate so if you have not got a certificate or the one you have is running out in the next 12 months please register for the course as the club will not run another in the current year. The course is free for club members. Please email to Rob Wiggins at runchichester@outlook.com to reserve a place on the course. You must be able to attend both nights of the course.
