The second CCC event is next Wednesday (13th March) and runners please remember to retain your number and anyone who ran the “B” race in under 18 minutes must run next time in the “A” race. Phil and Mark will assume those who helped last time can do so again, unless you have told them to the contrary.

Last Sunday (3rd March) Mike Houston ran the Tokyo Marathon but unfortunately in typical Scottish weather. It was wet, cold and hard going but that did not spoil the occasion for Mike and great experience for him to record a new PB of 2:38:57 for 355th place in the process. This also meant Mike had completed the World Marathon Majors earning an additional medal, which is the biggest one he has ever seen!
