"Wednesday" Winter Training

This is the launch of the "Wednesday" Winter Training Schedule for 2014/5 led by Kevin and Tom. The schedule is now on the "Training" page of this website but for a sneak view see below: 

2014

 8th October      4x1500m circa Chichester College with 90-120 secs static recovery

 15th October    5x1k circa Westgate Fields with 60-90secs static recovery

 22nd October   16x150m hill reps Montague Road with jog back down recovery

 29th October    6x800m circa Westgate Fields with 150m active recovery back to start

 5th November  5x1.2k Worcester Road with 90 secs static recovery

 12th November 12x400m North & East Street with 60 secs recovery and 120 secs every 4th rep.

 19th November 4x1.5k circa the Barracks with “long sides” effort and jog “shorter sides” as recovery

 26th November 12x250m circa Wells Crescent 40-60 secs with static recovery

 3rd December   5x500m hill reps Little Breach. Jog back recovery

 10th December 15x200m hill reps Oaklands Park footpath. Jog back recovery with 120 secs                              recovery after every 5 reps

 17th December Zig-Zag run of 3.5 mile paced around centre of Chichester

 No training between Christmas & New Year

 2015

 7th January       4x1.5k circa Chi College 90-120 secs with static recovery

 14th January     16x150m hill reps Montague Road with jog back down for recovery

 21st January     5x1k reps circa Westgate Fields with 60-90 sec static recovery

 28th January     5x1.2k  Worcester Road with 90 secs static recovery

 4th February     12x400m North & East Street with 60 secs recovery and 120 secs every 4th rep

 11th February   5x500m Little Breach with jog back recovery

 18th February   12x250m circa Wells Crescent with 40-60 secs recovery

 4th March       4x1.5k circa The Barracks with “long sides” as effort and “shorter sides” as jog recovery

 18th March      6x800m circa Westgate Fields with 150m active recovery back to start
