Club Info

A handful of runners met in 1984 to form a running club starting off as mainly a senior middle distance group but which has grown over the years to over 500 members in 2019 with activities ranging from cross country, road running and multi-terrain right through to indoor sportshall athletics and track and field including: sprints, jumps, throws, hurdles and even the pole vault and hammer. Our age range is now from the under 11’s (School Year 5) right through to an ever increasing band of veterans with several in their 70’s and even a couple of octogenarians.

Chichester Runners and AC are affiliated to: UK Athletics, AAA, South of England AA, Sussex County AA, Southern Men's and Women's Athletic League, McDonald's Young Athletic League for Boys and Girls, Sussex Cross Country League and Sussex Grand Prix Competition.

We welcome all abilities from beginners to seasoned runners and aim to provide everyone with training sessions and activities to suit their needs and to meet their running goals, always in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
