Welcome to Chichester Runners and AC Web Site!
This is the 24th year that Chichester Runners has been in existence.
Formed in October 1984 with 8 runners we now have a membership of over
260 with nearly half of those in a thriving junior section. Our
activities range from indoor sports hall athletics for the juniors
through to road, cross country, multi-terrain events and track and
field.
Chichester Runners and AC are affiliated to: UK Athletics, AAA, South
of England AA, Sussex County AA, Southern Men's and Women's Athletic
League, McDonald's Young Athletic League for Boys and Girls, Sussex and
Hampshire Cross Country leagues.
Our Aim
Chichester Runners and AC aims to provide a friendly club
atmosphere where all standards of athletes will feel welcome,
from those who wish to keep fit and enjoy the more social side
of belonging to a club, to those who are more competitive and
wish to improve their PBs! We can and do cater for all.

Club Profile

Training
Go to
the training page for full details of our very
comprehensive range of coaching and training - juniors,
veterans, beginners, experienced, social or competitive
our coaches can help your running or field event.

Cross Country We have
teams in all age groups and categories running in the
Sussex and Hampshire Leagues, Southern Counties and
National Championships.

Road Members
compete in events from 5km to marathon locally,
nationally and overseas.

Track and Field We have
teams competing in the Southern Counties Men's and
Women's Leagues.

Trail We
organise a very popular series of trail runs during the
summer months and enter teams for events such as the
South Downs Relay.

West Sussex
Fun Run League We send
teams to all the Fun Run fixtures throughout West Sussex -
join in.

Juniors We have
a thriving and successful junior section for training
and competition in track and field, cross country and
road.

Events and Results
We
organise a number of local races from x-c and trail to
road races throughout the year.
